Film Showing (The Adventures of Kween Jonabelle)

In the Philippine Christian University (PCU) of Dasmarinas Cavite there has been even recently that occurred this April 18, 2024, starting from time 7:30 A.M to 10:30 P.M, at the SM PalaPala.

Film showing, also known simply as a "movie screening," is an event where a film is presented to an audience for viewing. It can take place in various settings such as cinemas, theaters, community centers, or outdoor venues. Film showings often include a range of genres from blockbuster movies to independent films, documentaries, and classic cinema. They are typically organized by film distributors, production companies, film festivals, or local organizations. Attendees purchase tickets or gain entry through invitation to watch the film projected onto a screen with audio provided through speakers. Sometimes, there are additional elements such as Q&A sessions with filmmakers, panel discussions, or special introductions to enhance the viewing experience.

Because the start of the film showing is 7:30 A.M to 10:30 P.M the students must wake up early so they can go at SM PalaPala in the assigned time. On our way at cinema there are countless of students that are going on their assigned cinema number. My classmates and I are assigned at cinema number 6, before the film show begin, we bought a snack which is a popcorn and a drink which is a water, after that we sat on our respective seats and wait for the film show to start. The title of the film show is "The Adventures of Kween Jonabelle" the genre of the show is comedy and drama but it's much more focused on drama.

 

And there it is the show has started, the show started of in a Senior High School graduation ceremony and showing the main character jonabelle, she is busy looking at his phone while the ceremony is ongoing, and also showing his younger brother and auntie on the side of the stage. When the stories got deeper you will see that jonabelle and his younger brother is alone in the house since their auntie left them because of the man named badong, causing the two siblings have financial problem. Her sister tried to fix their financial problem through vlogging or a content creator, later on the movie you’ll see that jonabelle brother have a disease called leukemia and the survivality rate is low, and more problem come for jonabelle his career as a vlogger went awry and the money that she saved for emergency, was robbed. The misfortune continues as his brother died. The end!??

The movie ends that give us a several emotions were showed, laughs, cries, and questions. My honest reaction to the film show was who stole the money? what happened to jonabelle after his younger brother died? and many more, is summary the film show was lacking on information, though we enjoyed the film show we got alot of laugh since the show is comedy except the end of the movie. After the movie we got a picture for our souvenir.
